We are looking for a Store Manager who will be responsible for managing, organizing and maintaining stock, receiving and dispatching goods, and keeping records of transactions.
You will ensure the smooth operation of the store/warehouse by controlling the flow of stocks and supplies.
Your key responsibilities include receiving, storing, and issuing materials, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the safety and security of inventory.
Responsibilities
Monitoring stock levels, rotating stock to prevent spoilage or obsolescence, and coordinating the disposal of surplus or expired items.
Maintaining accurate records of all stock transactions, including receipts, issues, and adjustments.
Maintaining a safe and organized storage environment, implementing security measures to prevent theft or damage, and adhering to safety regulations.
Accepting deliveries, inspecting items for damage or discrepancies, and ensuring proper storage and organization of received goods.
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
10-15 years of experience in retail management, sales supervision, or store operations.
Proficiency in ERP is an added advantage, including inventory/retail software and retail analytics tools.
Essential Skills:
Strong ability to track and manage stock levels effectively.
Meticulous in maintaining records, organising storage spaces, and ensuring accurate stock counts.
Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory or storage issues.
Proficiency in using inventory management systems and other relevant software such as MS Word and Excel.
