We are looking for a meticulous and proactive QA Manual/Automation Tester with 1 to 3years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and backend applications.
You will play a key role in our product development lifecycle by creating and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and contributing to test automation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute detailed test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira or Trello.
Perform manual testing of web applications and APIs.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Postman, or Cypress.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve defects.
Ensure software meets quality standards before deployment.
Contribute to continuous testing improvements in CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is a plus but not mandatory.
1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in QA testing (manual and/or automation).
Strong understanding of software testing principles and SDLC.
Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or similar).
Familiarity with RESTful API testing.
Basic knowledge of version control (e.g., Git).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Exposure to CI/CD environments and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
Basic scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, or Bash).
Understanding of performance and load testing principles.
