Requirements
Dispensing medications as prescribed by doctors and other medical professionals
Reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy and to evaluate their suitability for the patient
Provide information and advice about drugs, their side effects, correct dosage and proper storage
Place an order as well as purchasing pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, or drugs
Maintaining stock and storing and handling it properly
Advising patients on medication brands, medical equipment or healthcare supplies.
Planning, implementing and maintaining procedures for mixing, packaging and labelling pharmaceuticals to ensure they meet legal requirements
Prepare a weekly activity report for the purpose of decision making as well asattention of the MD.
Adhere to the requirements of FSSC, Feed Safety, GMP and QMS as it relates to my job function.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
2 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
A professional qualification would be an added advantage
