The role holder primary duties include preventing and managing problems underwater, handling dive emergencies, and operating rescue equipment to locate and retrieve employees or tools.
Responsibilities
Other responsibilities include:
Emergency Response- responding to and managing dive emergencies, including rescuing divers in distress.
Safety Assessment- evaluating the safety of diving conditions, including water and weather conditions, and equipment reliability.
Underwater Search and Recovery- conducting underwater searches for objects, structures, or evidence, and retrieving individuals or tools.
First Aid and Medical Assistance- Providing assistance to other first responders during emergencies.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance-, preparing dive equipment for use by other team members, operating and maintaining diving equipment, including scuba and surface-supplied diving equipment.
Team Supervision- monitoring other members of the dive team, and employees, during work and rescue operations.
Training and Certification- participating in toolbox talk, and ensuring divers and employees are trained in safe diving practices and emergency procedures and maintaining certifications.
Documentation and Reporting- maintaining dive logs and submitting required reports.
Adhering to the Company’s HSE rules and safe work procedures and requirements.
Requirements
Emergency Rescue Divers Certifications or Licenses in Open Water Practices.
Good Communication Skills and Attention to Details.
Physically fit and Healthy.
Minimum of 2 years plus Work Experience as Life gurad, Rescue Diver and Deep-Water Environment.
Interpersonal Skills:
Basic First Aid and Emergency Response practices.
Residing Locally in Proximity to the Project Site along Lekki epe axis.
