Collaborate with the IT department to understand technical requirements and ensure procurement aligns with business and technical goals.
Conduct market analysis to identify suppliers, evaluate proposals, and negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
Manage vendor performance and relationships to ensure compliance with contracts, delivery timelines, and service expectations.
Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and inventory tracking.
Ensure procurement activities are compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
Contribute to IT budgeting, cost control, and forecasting activities.
Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize technology spend and value.
Assist in risk assessment and mitigation related to IT vendor engagements and licensing.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in IT procurement or IT contract management.
Strong technical knowledge of IT products, including hardware, software, licensing, SaaS, networking, and cybersecurity solutions.
Demonstrated experience negotiating IT vendor contracts and managing supplier relationships.
Familiarity with procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa) and IT asset management tools.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Knowledge of IT compliance, data privacy, and security standards is an advantage.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CIPS, or PMP) are a plus.
