Ekesons Parcel Services Ltd is seeking a highly organized and proactive Head Dispatcher to oversee and manage the daily operations of our dispatch team. The ideal candidate will lead the dispatch unit in coordinating timely parcel pickups and deliveries across multiple routes, ensuring operational efficiency and superior customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the dispatch team to ensure timely parcel delivery and collection
Develop and implement dispatch schedules based on demand and route optimization
Liaise with drivers, customers, logistics staff, and management to ensure smooth delivery operations
Monitor delivery operations in real time, responding quickly to delays, emergencies, or route changes
Track parcels using company Mobile App to ensure accountability and transparency
Provide leadership, training, and performance management for dispatch personnel
Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and company operational standards
Prepare and maintain detailed dispatch reports and performance metrics
Resolve customer complaints related to delivery issues in a timely and professional manner
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum of HND/Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
3–5 years experience in dispatch operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
Strong knowledge of parcel logistics, dispatch systems, and routing software
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dispatch tracking software
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Knowledge of Nigerian road networks and logistics regulations is a strong advantage

Work Conditions:

Office-based with regular field coordination
May include weekend or after-hours oversight, depending on operational demands
