As an Electro Electrician/Power Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the company’s electrical systems and power infrastructure. You will be responsible for conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting electrical issues, and carrying out repairs. Additionally, you will collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement efficient electrical systems for new projects.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify the root cause of problems.
Repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as circuit breakers, transformers, and motors.
Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, control systems, and lighting fixtures.
Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement electrical systems for new projects.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
Requirements
B. Eng, HND, ND or Trade Test certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years working experience as an Electro Electrician or Power Engineer.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and power distribution.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in reading electrical diagrams and technical specifications.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
