As an Asphalt Paver Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of various asphalt paving machines, including pavers, rollers, and milling equipment.
Your goal is to ensure all machinery operates efficiently and safely on-site.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on paving machines and heavy equipment
Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment breakdowns
Troubleshoot engine, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Work closely with the operations team to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance
Requirements
National Diploma or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
1 – 2 years of experience as an Asphalt Paver Mechanic
Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and mechanical components
Experience with pavers, rollers, and milling machines is essential.
