The Website Developer will design, develop, and maintain the organization’s website.
This role requires a strong background in web development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.
The ideal candidate will create user-friendly, visually appealing, and functional websites that align with our mission and engage our audience.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain the organization’s website.
Collaborate with the design and content teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly web pages.
Ensure the website is optimized for various devices and browsers.
Implement and manage content management systems (CMS).
Perform regular updates and maintenance to ensure website security and functionality.
Monitor website performance and implement improvements to enhance user experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly.
Optimize website content for search engines (SEO).
Integrate third-party tools and applications as needed.
Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in web development.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
Knowledge of SEO best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with a non-governmental organization (NGO) is a plus.
