Purpose of Job
Implement and support warehousing strategies and activities by ensuring the efficient storage, handling and dispatch of finished goods to distributors and other varied locations in order to achieve customer order fulfilment and service delivery in alignment with company policies and standard procedures.
Principal Accountabilities
Monitor and report stock levels for adequate stocking to avoid overstock or stock out of goods
Ensure proper handling of goods to avoid re-work or rejection by customers
Perform daily warehouse activities, including inventory and space management, floor productivity, dispatch, hygiene, and customer service to maximize warehousing capacity for productivity.
Cross-check dispatch, goods receipt, and all warehousing documents to avoid stock variance and discrepancies between the business and customers.
Implement pre-dispatch inspection for safe loading and delivery of goods to avoid losses and disputes with customers.
Maintain an inviting and organized store environment to ensure proper storage, loading and record keeping of inventory to avoid stock losses and spoilage
Job Requirements
Education:
Minimum requirement: First degree/ HND certificate from a recognized higher institution with a grade not less than a Second Class lower or a Lower Credit.
Added advantage: A master’s degree or an MBA in a related field
Experience:
Minimum requirement: Minimum of 2 years’ cognate experience

Framework & Boundaries:
This role has autonomy to implement warehouse operations, for efficient receipt, handling, storage, and dispatch of goods, while maintaining accuracy, in compliance, and collaboration with other departments under the supervision of the Logistics and Warehouse Manager in adherence to company policies and industry regulations, for smooth operations and productivity.
