As our Head, Corporate Finance, you’ll play a crucial role in sustaining our financial health, ensuring strategic resource allocation and propelling sustainable growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance department, ensuring all financial activities are performed accurately and efficiently.
- Develop and implement financial plans and policies aligned with the overall corporate finance strategy set by the CFO
- Possess a deep understanding of deal origination and deal closure
- Identify profitable opportunities in the financial market and develop investment pitch decks
- Lead a team of finance professionals, ensuring their skills and knowledge are up-to-date.
- Provide financial analysis and support to various business units within the organization.
Who You Are:
- A seasoned corporate finance professional with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in a senior corporate finance role.
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic financial plans, driving growth, and managing risk.
- In-depth knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and capital markets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across all levels.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, or a related field; a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CMA (Certified Management Accountant) and/or MBA is a strong plus.
Bonus Points:
- Experience working with a Private Equity firm and managing multiple subsidiaries.
- A deep understanding of the African business landscape and its regulatory environment.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a results-oriented and collaborative environment.
- Deep knowledge of the National and International financial markets
- Excellent negotiation and deal structuring skills.
