Installation & Maintenance:
Install, maintain, and repair mechanical components, piping systems, and utility equipment.
Conduct routine inspections to identify wear and tear, leaks, or potential failures.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of utility systems.
Troubleshooting & Repairs:
Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
Replace defective parts and ensure proper alignment of mechanical systems.
Work with engineers and technicians to resolve complex mechanical issues.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.
Participate in safety training and emergency response drills.
Operational Coordination:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment usage.
Assist in procurement of spare parts and tools required for repairs.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical fitting, utility maintenance, or industrial equipment handling.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and utility equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
