Using AutoCAD software to develop shop drawings for electrical systems including, lighting, power, and ELV systems.
Coordinating with all MEP systems to produce composite drawings including details and sections.
Coordinating with site teams and producing drawings efficiently and accurately.
Visiting the site for a better understanding of the project.
Reviewing and revising drawings as needed to accommodate changes or updates to the design.
Working closely with his direct supervisor to clarify design objectives, resolve technical issues, and incorporate feedback into drawings.
Requirements and skills
HND/BSc in Building Engineering technology or a related field
4 – 5 years minimum drafting experience in drafting or a related role, experience in CAD software is essential.
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD 2D, 3D, Revit BIM and Dynamo.
Strong technical drawing and blueprint reading skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Understanding of construction processes.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
