The Role in One Line
Take ownership of daily guide scheduling, real-time dispatch coordination, and on-shift problem solving, ensuring that every tour is fully staffed, on time, and set up for guest excellence.
What You’ll Do
Dispatch & Real-Time Coordination
Oversee daily dispatch of guides and vehicles across multiple North American cities.
Respond quickly to live operational issues such as no-shows, delays, route changes, or guest escalations.
Act as the “command center” during your shift, keeping tours running smoothly.
Scheduling & Workforce Planning
Build and maintain accurate weekly schedules for guides, resolving conflicts and ensuring coverage.
Manage shift swaps and last-minute schedule adjustments with speed and fairness.
Operational Monitoring
Track guide check-ins, punctuality, and attendance in real time.
Escalate concerns and performance issues to the Operations Manager.
Use dashboards, spreadsheets, and scheduling tools to update assignments and maintain live visibility.
Leadership & Support
Be the first point of contact for guides during your shift, providing clear, empathetic support.
Mentor newer associates and help drive process improvements.
Contribute to training and SOP updates during the off-season.
What You Bring
Must-Have
4-5 years’ experience in dispatch, scheduling, or workforce coordination (transportation, logistics, ride-hailing, BPO/operations centers, etc.)
Proven track record in customer service or staff support, calm under pressure and great with people
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel) and scheduling or dispatch tools
Excellent communication skills, clear, empathetic, and professional
Availability to work shift patterns including evenings and weekends to cover North American hours
Nice-to-Have
Experience managing or supporting remote or frontline teams
Familiarity with tools like Discord, Slack, Rippling, or workforce management software
Interest in travel, tourism, or guest operations
