This is a full-time on-site role located in Lagos for a Senior Financial Accountant at Swift Networks Limited.
The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for financial statements, analytical tasks, finance-related activities, utilising accounting software, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and oversee daily accounting operations
Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing and statutory deductions
Perform monthly bank and cash reconciliations and monitor company cash flow
Take full ownership offinancial control, including budget management, cost control and variance analysis
Lead annual budgeting and support financial forecasting activities
Ensure timely compliance with FIRS, LIRS and other regulatory requirements
Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed
Maintain the fixed asset register and manage depreciation schedules
Review and improve internal accounting processes, policies and controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Second Class Upper/HND Upper Credit is a must)
Professional certification in Accounting (e.g., ICAN, CPA, ACCA)
Financial Statements and Financial Reporting skills
Analytical Skills
Experience in Finance and Accounting Software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Finance or any related field from a reputable Nigerian or international institution.
