Design and develop backend systems based on customer requests or industry best practices
Design, develop, and maintain databases to store and retrieve data
Write code in one or more computer languages such as Java, .NET, or Python
Develop new features for existing products or creating entirely new products
Develop and implement new technologies as they become available
Work with frontend developers to ensure that the application is compatible with all supported platforms
Develop and support an application’s infrastructure, such as databases and servers
Develop high-quality software design and architecture
Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
Other Backend-related tasks.
Requirements
What we are looking for:
Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 3 years experience in Backend development
Lead and mentor a team of Backend Developers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
Hands on experience with programming languages like Java, Ruby, PHP and Python
Working knowledge of CMS framework
Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS)
Excellent analytical and time management skills
