We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily accounting activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and contributing to financial planning and analysis efforts.
This role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws and support tax filings (VAT, income tax, etc.).
Lead the month-end and year-end close processes.
Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate reports and forecasts.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Recommend and implement improvements to financial systems and procedures.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters.
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates should possess a Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Charted Accountant (ACA)
Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Orion) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Experience in manufacturing, IT industry.
Familiarity with financial modeling and data analysis.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
