Thoroughly review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to ensure quality standards and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-sourced tools
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
After resolving bugs, ensure extensive regression testing is performed.
Measure and analyze QA data points like defect density and outstanding defect totals.
Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Proven work experience in software development, and software quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing, and automated testing tools
Proficiency in programming languages, testing tools, and version control systems.
Proficient in developing and implementing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with various automation testing tools and frameworks.
Prior experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
Experience in uncovering defects through sharp problem-solving and meticulous testing practices.
