Assist in overseeing the production of personal care products and ensuring conformity with health and safety requirements.
Support in selecting the appropriate production processes by deciding on machines, materials, and handling systems.
Assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all manufacturing activities within the factory.
Identify quality risks and issues within the manufacturing processes and provide solutions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of product quality and take necessary steps to reduce production costs.
Assist in inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels.
Assist in ensuring proper maintenance and replacement of machines and equipment.
Contribute to the development and implementation of manufacturing strategies and processes to meet business objectives.
Ensure adherence to good manufacturing practices and other manufacturing standards.
Supervise the work of junior staff and organise relevant training sessions.
Assign personnel to tasks according to production schedules and resource requirements.
Requirements
B.Sc. / HND in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry from a reputable institution.
Post postgraduate degree is an added advantage
Degree in engineering, chemistry, manufacturing, business or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in production process in the FMCG industry (Personal Care).
Experience working with NAFDAC will be an added advantage.
Excellent working knowledge of safety and environmental practices and regulations.
