Federal Polytechnic, Monguno is a public polytechnic located in Monguno, Borno State. The Polytechnic was established in January 2021 by the Federal Government of Nigeria as the first federal polytechnic in Borno State. The establishment aimed to provide technical and vocational education in the region, addressing the lack of federal institutions in northeastern Nigeria. The polytechnic commenced with eight academic programs across three schools, offering courses in fields such as business administration, accountancy, agricultural science, and computer science.Requirements
A candidate possessing relevant Master’s Degree plus at least eighteen years teaching/research or industrial working experience.
A candidate must have published a total of 10 conference/seminar papers, nine journal articles accepted for publication or contribution of two chapters in a standard textbook OR a candidate possessing a Doctorate Degree with at least 12 years cognate experience and must have a total of 9 conference papers and 10 (ten) journal articles accepted for publications or 4 (four) chapters contribution in a standard textbook.
