Design and conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate the effects of drugs on tissues, organs, and systems.
Study drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (pharmacokinetics).
Analyze the therapeutic and toxicological effects of chemical compounds (pharmacodynamics).
Collaborate with chemists, biologists, clinicians, and other scientists in drug development projects.
Perform preclinical trials to test the safety and efficacy of new medications.
Document, interpret, and report research findings in line with scientific and regulatory standards.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, ethical guidelines, and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
Contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions for new drugs.
Stay updated with advancements in pharmacology, biotechnology, and related fields.
Provide expert input in clinical trial design, drug formulation, and dose determination.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Physiology, or a related field
Strong background in biology, chemistry, and medical sciences.
Hands-on experience in laboratory research and analytical techniques.
Knowledge of drug discovery, toxicology, and regulatory frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for scientific reporting.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
