We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacist with professional experience to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dispensing medications, providing patient education, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
This role requires exceptional communication skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with legal and professional guidelines.
Provide expert advice to patients on the proper use of prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications, including potential side effects, contraindications, and interactions.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as doctors, nurses, and other pharmacists to optimize patient outcomes.
Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) and assist in patient medication reviews, ensuring safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those set forth by the FDA, DEA, and local regulatory bodies.
Monitor and manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing medications while preventing stock shortages or overages.
Oversee and guide junior pharmacy staff and interns, providing mentorship and ensuring adherence to best practices.
Implement and uphold safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of medications.
Document all pharmaceutical activities and maintain accurate patient records using pharmacy management systems.
Participate in quality assurance programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a clinical, retail, or hospital pharmacy setting.
Certifications (Preferred):
Immunization certification, CPR certification, MTM certification.

In-depth knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and therapeutic practices.
