Machine Operation and Maintenance:
Operating the Peeling Machine: They load nuts into the machine, adjust settings as needed, and monitor the process to ensure efficient and effective peeling.
Maintaining the Machine: They regularly check the machine for any malfunctions, perform routine maintenance tasks (like cleaning or lubrication), and report any necessary repairs.
Quality Control:
Inspecting Peeled Nuts: They inspect the peeled nuts for broken kernels, shell fragments, or other defects to ensure quality standards are met.
Sorting and Grading: They may be involved in sorting and grading the kernels based on size, shape, and color.
Other Responsibilities:
Safety: Following safety protocols for operating the machinery and handling the nuts.
Monitoring Performance: Keeping track of the machine’s performance, including peeling rates, broken kernel rates, and kernel rates, to ensure efficiency.
Communication: Communicating with other workers in the cashew processing plant, such as those involved in shelling or grading.
