A foremost specialist hospital in Lagos is currently seeking a Medical Officer to work in the wards and out-patient department on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will work closely with consultants, fellow Medical Officers, House Officers and Nursing staff to ensure the provision of quality health care excellence. 
She/he shall be responsible for among other things: 
To provide medical cover, routine and emergency life care services, during hours of duty and work in conjunction with the other MOs to provide a 24 hour service to the hospital. 
Maintain a proper record of symptoms, examinations and treatment of all patients allotted. Complete departmental request forms for diagnostic purposes in accordance with departmental and hospital regulation as well as to provide accurate medical reports for HMOs, Retainers, patients’ relatives or patients whenever demanded by the hospital’s billing unit or medical records unit, especially at points of discharge or referral 
Exercise due professional care in the management of patients who may be allotted to him/her within the limits of his/her own competence and experience. 
Promote high quality outcomes for patients and consistently demonstrate effective interpersonal relationships with other staff and patients and sensitively handling problems. 

Requirements: 

Must possess an MBBS Degree or its equivalent, full Registration with the Medical and Dental council of Nigeria (MDCN) and a current practicing license. 
Understanding of private medical services and must possess post graduate experience of 2-4 years in the management of medical emergencies.
