Perform various massage techniques including, deep tissue, sports massage, and others based on client needs.
Customize massage treatments according to individual client health conditions, preferences, and goals.
Assess clients’ medical histories, symptoms, and specific conditions to develop appropriate massage treatment plans.
Educate clients on the benefits of regular massages and suggest home care exercises and techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the massage room and work area.
Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress notes.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed, such as chiropractors or physical therapists.
Participate in promotional events and activities to market massage services and attract new clients.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
Proficiency in various massage techniques and modalities.
