The Insurance Broker will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and securing insurance policies for clients.
This role requires a strong understanding of both general and life insurance products, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and insurance carriers.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic plans to meet sales targets and enhance the company’s insurance business.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential clients, including individuals and businesses, to generate leads and increase sales opportunities.
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities in the insurance sector.
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns, materials, and events aimed at attracting new clients and retaining existing ones.
Offer expert advice and guidance to clients on insurance products, coverage options, and risk management strategies.
Negotiate and finalize insurance contracts, terms, and premiums with clients while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions using CRM software or similar tools.
Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in insurance sales and business development.
Attend networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings to establish professional
connections and raise the company’s profile in the market.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams, such as underwriters, claims processors, and customer service representatives, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
3 years work experience.
Proven experience in insurance sales, business development, or a similar role.
Thorough understanding of insurance products, policies, and industry regulations.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and nurture client relationships.
Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Professional certification in insurance (CIP, CRM) is advantageous.
