Erisco Foods Limited (formerly Erisco Foods Processing Limited) was incorporated in 2004 as an indigenous manufacturer of foods products in Nigeria. We began operations in 2009, producing one brand of Tomato Paste in sachet called Nagiko. Soon after we introduced another brand of tomato paste called Ric-Giko. We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Machine Operator to join our production team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting food processing and packaging machines to ensure smooth and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor food processing or packaging machinery.
Ensure machines are properly set up for production runs.
Carry out regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
Detect and report mechanical faults or malfunctions.
Ensure compliance with company safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
Accurately complete production logs and reports.
Collaborate with other team members to meet daily production targets.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE/OND/Technical Certificate or its equivalent.
At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
Basic understanding of mechanical operations and machine maintenance.
Good attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work shifts, or extended hours if required.
