Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards.
Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment, and ensure they are properly stored.
Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing food supplies and ingredients.
Dispose of waste and handle cleaning duties, including mopping and sanitizing surfaces.
Help plate and present dishes under the direction of the kitchen staff.
Refill cooking stations with necessary supplies during service hours.
Follow all kitchen procedures and cooperate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
