They seek dynamic and highly skilled Junior Associates to provide technical and operational support for development research projects in Nigeria. 
These roles will contribute to advancing project strategies, managing deliverables across multiple workstreams, building partner relationships, and shaping key project outputs.

Responsibilities
Survey Design & Development:

Assist in designing questionnaires and interview guides for opinion polls and research studies
Conduct background research to inform survey instruments

Data Management & Analysis:

Clean and validate survey data
Analyze data using tools like Excel
Gather and analyze data, and draft presentations that summarize insights, recommendations, and plans for stakeholders

Reporting & Documentation:

Draft research briefs, reports, and PowerPoint presentations
Assist in writing client-facing deliverables with supervision
Contribute to mid-term and end-term project evaluations

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

Participate in meetings and presentations with clients or partners
Prepare meeting notes and follow-up action items
Collaborate and communicate effectively with clients and partners to support smooth project implementation
Participate in technical discussions with clients, stakeholders, and project teams

Project Management & Administration:

Support day-to-day project activities to ensure alignment with goals and timelines
Track project deliverables and assist in maintaining project documentation
Support proposal writing and other business development efforts

Compliance & Ethics:

Ensure adherence to research ethics and data protection standards
Support internal quality assurance and control processes

Required skills and qualifications
Education and Experience

Academic qualifications: Minimum of a Second-Class Upper Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Economics, Statistics, Sociology, Political Science, Development Studies, or other relevant science disciplines.
Professional experience: 2 years of progressive experience in research & data collection, public policy or development research projects, with demonstrated skills in data analysis and stakeholder engagement.

Demonstrated strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft® Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a proven ability to leverage these tools for impactful analysis, presentations, and reporting.
Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines and shifting priorities.
Fast learner, open to learning from peers, subordinates, and supervisors collaboratively and at a rapid pace
Must be resident in Abuja.
