Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Accounts to lead our accounting team and oversee all financial accounting and reporting functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA,, etc.)
Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Strong leadership and team management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee financial accounting and reporting functions, including preparation of financial statements and budgets
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
Maintain strong internal controls and risk management practices
Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions
Lead and manage a team of accountants and financial professionals
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
