We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Officer with a strong background in manufacturing and union relations to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on HR experience within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating expertise in employee relations, compliance, and union handling.
Key Responsibilities
Manage recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes for manufacturing staff.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company objectives and legal requirements.
Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll in accordance with company policies.
Ensure compliance with employment laws, safety standards, and industrial regulations.
Act as a liaison between management and union representatives, maintaining positive and productive relationships.
Participate in union negotiations and grievances, ensuring adherence to agreements.
Conduct training sessions on company policies, safety, and employee rights.
Maintain accurate HR records and report on key HR metrics.
Qualifications & Experience
Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree
Minimum of 3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing setting.
Proven experience working with unionized workforces.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and union protocols.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism.
HR certification (such as SHR, PHR, or equivalent) preferred.
