We are looking for a strategic and compassionate HR Manager to lead the Human Resources department in our hospital. 
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, labor law compliance, training, and staff welfare, with a focus on supporting clinical and non-clinical teams in delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategies aligned with hospital goals and healthcare regulations.
Lead recruitment and onboarding of qualified medical, technical, and administrative staff.
Handle employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution with empathy and professionalism.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards (e.g., JCI, NHIA).
Oversee payroll, employee benefits, leave administration, and HRIS database management.
Coordinate training, continuous medical education , and professional development programs.
Implement performance management systems and conduct periodic performance appraisals.
Promote employee engagement and staff well-being initiatives to maintain a healthy work environment.
Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and workforce planning.
Maintain proper documentation for audits, regulatory inspections, and accreditation purposes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD is an added advantage).
Minimum of 4 years of HR experience, preferably in the healthcare or hospital sector.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and healthcare compliance standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
Ability to handle sensitive issues with confidentiality and discretion.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience working in a hospital or healthcare organization.
Familiarity with hospital licensing and accreditation processes.
Strong crisis management and problem-solving skills.
