We are seeking an experienced heavy-dutymechanic to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing, troubleshooting, and carrying out maintenance on heavy earth moving machines such as; Crane, excavator, drill rig, payloader, Cat, Volvo, JCB, and Komatsu.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty equipment
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
Adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal performance
Perform inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
Requirements
B.Sc / HND in Mechanical Engineering, Trade Test, Vocational Training or related field
5-10 years of proven experience as a heavy-duty mechanic working with Crane, excavator, drill rig, payloader, Cat, Volvo, JCB, and Komatsu.
Must have hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairinghydraulic systems (Boom Telescopic System, Hydraulic Control Valves, Hydraulic Pumps, Hydraulic Motors, etc.).
Must have knowledge of repairs and overhauls of power transmission systems like torque converters, automatic transmissions, powershift transmissions, power transfer gear boxes, mechanical transmissions, clutch systems, differentials, & axes with planetary systems.
Must have extensive knowledge and experience in reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics.
Candidates living in close proximity to Kaduna and its environs are preferred.
