As the Head of Projects, you are saddled with overseeing the entire project portfolio within our organization, leading and managing multiple project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while strategically aligning projects with overall business goals, often by collaborating with senior management to identify and prioritize key initiatives;responsibilities include setting project standards, managing project risks, allocating resources, and providing leadership to project managers across various teams

Responsibilities
Strategic Project Planning:

Collaborate with senior leadership to define project priorities, align project goals with business objectives, and develop comprehensive project plans.

Project Team Leadership:

Manage a team of project managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure efficient project execution.

Resource Allocation:

Assess and allocate project resources effectively across multiple projects, including personnel, budget, and time.

Project Oversight:

Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and proactively address risks to ensure successful project delivery.

Stakeholder Management:

Communicate project status updates to key stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and internal teams.

Performance Metrics:

Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and identify areas for improvement.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to optimize project management methodologies, tools, and processes.

Budget Management:

Oversee project budgets, identifying cost-saving measures and managing budget deviations.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure projects meet quality standards and compliance requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, significant experience in construction project management, strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, a deep understanding of construction procedures, and proficiency in project management software;often including experience managing complex projects and large teams within budget and time constraints
12+ years’ experience in real estate, construction, business and operations management or consulting.
Excellent communication, networking, and analytic skills.
Thorough understanding of financial and budgeting processes.
Proficiency in data analysis and business management software.

Required Skills:

Proven experience in construction and real estate projects, ideally leading large and complex projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Strategic thinking and ability to align projects with business goals
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
Financial acumen and budget management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
