Organizing and controlling the production facility to produce at the correct quality and cost
Developing and motivating production staff to achieve agreed objectives regarding efficiency, quality, industrial standards, health, and safety
Reviewing and analyzing production, and quality data to determine causes of non-conformity by using internal CI tools (R-EWO, QP-EWO, HERCA, and A3)
Optimizing production process that results in the effective use of raw materials
Managing raw material stock counts and month-end closure in SAP with Plant controller
Managing manufacturing variances and identifying corrective actions,
Ensuring that the Company’s Safety policy and procedures are adhered to and are communicated to the workforce effectively
Managing the department manpower model and ensuring the right people are in the correct positions and succession plans are in place.
Developing and training the team to improve the effectiveness of implementation of best/ next practices in his department.
Ensure the preparation of accurate operating budgets for the manufacturing department
Prepare the annual objectives of the manufacturing department
Review and evaluate actual operating results against annual established objectives
Develop short/medium-term manufacturing plans to ensure the alignment of manufacturing capability with growth in sales volume.
Strengthen the organizational structure at the plant level, particularly the engineering capability by building a solid pipeline for key technical positions.
Develop programs to improve plant performance through equipment refurbishing or replacement plans.
Establish and supervise the Maintenance Management System
Job Specifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years experience at the management level in the manufacturing sector.
Knowledge of production standards and practices
Ability to interpret complex documents, including blueprints, schematics, and manufacturing plans
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical, financial management, and budgeting skills
Proficient in the use of production management software
A solid understanding of health and safety regulations
