Assign drivers to routes based on customer needs and driver availability
Monitor driver performance and provide feedback as needed
Track and report on the status of all vehicles in the fleet
Communicate with drivers, customers, and management to ensure smooth operations
Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule vehicle repairs and maintenance
Respond to driver and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation Management or a related field
Prior experience as a fleet dispatcher or similar role in a Logistics Industry
Familiarity with Lagos roads and traffic patterns
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of GPS systems and transportation management software
