The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the solar panel manufacturing operations. This role ensures proper cost control, efficient allocation of resources, and compliance with all financial regulations while supporting strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow for the subsidiary.
Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
Implement cost control measures to enhance profitability.
Prepare and present monthly/quarterly financial reports to senior management.
Ensure tax compliance and timely submission of statutory filings.
Liaise with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
Support investment decisions with accurate financial analysis.
Establish and monitor internal financial controls to mitigate risks.
Provide financial insights to guide operational and commercial strategies.
Lead and develop the finance team to maintain high-performance standards.
Monitor the impact of currency fluctuations on procurement and imports.
Drive ERP or financial software improvements for efficient reporting.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5 years in financial management, ideally in manufacturing or energy.
Proven experience with cost control in production environments.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and compliance frameworks.
Advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced startup-like environment.
Strong business acumen and decision-making capabilities.
Experience with foreign exchange management is an added advantage.
