Fleet – Electrical Maintenance & Fault Repair: 

Carry out preventive and corrective electrical maintenance across the generator fleet to maximise uptime. 
Diagnose and repair faults on control panels, AVRs, alternators/excitation, ATS/AMF, protection relays and battery/charging systems. 
Maintain accurate service records and fault reports for each unit. 

Projects – Installation & Commissioning: 

Install and terminate generator control panels, cabling, distribution boards and changeover systems on project sites. 
Commission generators — set up controllers, synchronisation and load sharing, and perform load-bank/performance testing. 
Work from electrical drawings and single-line diagrams; support handover documentation. 

Service & Maintenance (S&M) – Site Service:

Attend client sites under service contracts for scheduled servicing and breakdown response. 
Troubleshoot electrical site issues quickly and safely, minimising client downtime. 
Advise clients and complete service checklists and reports.

Requirements

B.Eng in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering — a full engineering degree is required for this role. 
Minimum 5 years’ relevant post-graduation experience in a relevant scope of work — diesel and gas generator electrical systems across fleet, projects and service. 
COREN / NSE registration (or working towards it) is an advantage. 
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to sites
