Planning, monitoring and management of all BTHDC facilities.
Take responsibility for effective implementation of operational and maintenance contract.
Efficient management of Facility departmental budgets.
Preparing documents to put out tenders for contractors.
Project management, supervising and coordinating work of contractors.
Investigating availability and suitability of options for new equipment.
Calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money.
Planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives.
Take ownership for the maintenance of BTHDC facilities.
Formulate necessary instrument of management of preventive and corrective maintenance of BTHDC facilities.
Planning best allocation and utilization of space and resources, or re-organizing current office spaces.
Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies.
Coordinating and leading one or more teams to cover various areas of responsibility.
Using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement.
Assume departmental responsibility of Health, safety and environment complying with legislation.
Weekly/monthly management meeting/reporting.
Job Requirements
Education: Minimum Qualification of B.Sc. in Facility Management, Electrical Engineering, or other facility related courses.
Professional Qualification: PMP Certification, or any other related project management certification will be an added advantage.
Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
