We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level lawyer with 2–3 years of post-call experience to join our legal team.
The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and eager to grow within a dynamic legal environment.
This role offers hands-on exposure to a broad range of legal matters, including corporate advisory, litigation support, regulatory compliance, and contract drafting.
Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and draft legal opinions, memoranda, and briefs.
Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Provide support in litigation matters, including case preparation, court filings, and liaising with external counsel.
Monitor changes in relevant legislation and advise on necessary actions.
Assist with regulatory compliance and due diligence for corporate transactions.
Attend meetings, court proceedings, or regulatory hearings as required.
Maintain proper documentation and records of legal activities.
Requirements
A law Degree from a recognized institution.
Called to the Nigerian Bar (or relevant jurisdiction).
2 – 3 years of relevant post-NYSC legal experience.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Good understanding of corporate/commercial law and dispute resolution.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
