As an Electrical Site Engineer, you would oversee electrical system design, installation and supply.
Day-to-day, you’d draw up schedules, allocate time, resources and budget, as well asmanage staff to ensure work is completed on time, to a highstandard.
Also, you will be tasked with supervising all team members to create an energetic and positive work environment.
By taking a hands-on approach to the job, you can ensure that verification and electrical engineering design methodologies support product and safety requirements and that development processes fall within established timelines.

Job Description

Provides electrical engineering recommendations and technical support on electrical engineering reviews, strategic plans, and projects
Assists with allocation, budgeting, resource planning, and scheduling
Manages unit and development cost estimations and helps determine affordable and reliable material sources
Ensures on-time product development by collaborating with other leaders to estimate reasonable and precise schedules and solve problems quickly
Streamlines production while meeting compliance and safety guidelines
Creates production, quality validation, and evaluation requirements and tests and troubleshoots production dilemmas
Establishes technical standards in reviews, documentation, and designs
Manages engineering teams and technicians`
Understanding what the client or company wants to achieve
Defining the technical requirements and feasibility of a project
Outlining timescales, costs and resources needed to design and deliver a project
Making sure the work follows strict health and safety guidelines
Developing step-by-step project plans
Led a multi-disciplinary project team
Liaising with staff at every level
Overseeing several aspects of a project at the same time
Ensuring each stage of the project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard
Sharing regular progress reports with the client and stakeholders
Resolving any issues or delays
Working in an office or onsite.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as the lead engineer for corporate commercial projects
Previous electrical engineering management experience
Understanding of Electrical engineering
Leadership and Communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to carry out logical problem solving
General knowledge of Drawing tools such as AUTOCAD and/or BIM (Revit)
Experience with SKMPower tools for electrical studies, fault calculations, one-line diagrams, and panel schedules.
Extensive knowledge of state and national codes and their applications.
