Are you a highly organised and experienced transport professional with a proven ability to manage a fleet of drivers and ensure smooth logistics operations? Brit Transport, a division of Brit Properties, is looking for a Driver Manager to join our dynamic team in Ajah.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of company drivers across various routes and assignments.
Ensure full compliance with company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules, fuel usage, and tracking systems
Recruit, train, and evaluate driver performance and conduct disciplinary actions when necessary
Develop efficient route plans to optimise delivery timelines and reduce costs
Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle documentation, licenses, and incident reports
Act as liaison between drivers, operations, and management for effective communication
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar managerial role
Strong knowledge of Lagos and other states’ road networks and transport regulations
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Ability to manage schedules, solve problems quickly, and handle pressure
Practical knowledge of vehicle spare parts and components
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with vehicle tracking systems an added advantages
