We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Driver to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting our clients and employees to various destinations across the city, ensuring a comfortable and timely experience.
Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
Transport clients and employees to designated locations throughout Lagos and surrounding areas
Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or other items as needed
Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle at all times
Plan optimal routes using GPS navigation systems and knowledge of local roads to avoid traffic congestion
Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the appropriate department
Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing passenger needs and concerns promptly and professionally
Adapt to changing schedules and last-minute requests with flexibility and a positive attitude
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Thorough knowledge of Lagos roads, traffic patterns, and alternative routes
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Strong communication skills in English
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
Team player mentality with the ability to work independently when required
High standards of personal grooming and presentation
Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and smartphone applications
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
Physical ability to assist with luggage and passenger needs
Attention to detail in maintaining vehicle cleanliness and completing required documentation
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience as a professional driver or in the transportation industry is a plus
