Key duties include meticulous trip planning using GPS and traffic monitoring systems, conducting comprehensive vehicle safety inspections, and maintaining detailed logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance records.
The role demands strict adherence to DOT regulations, including Hours of Service compliance, while ensuring passenger comfort and timely arrivals.
Additional responsibilities encompass basic vehicle upkeep (fluid checks, tire rotations), secure handling of confidential documents or high-value cargo, and professional representation of the company brand during all interactions.
