Job Summary:
The National Institute of Credit Administration [NICA] chartered, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced confidential Secretary/Executive Assistant to provide administrative and executive duties to the Registrar & Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day official activities of the CEO’s office, ensuring efficient communication, and providing exceptional administrative and executive supports encompassing personal and private activities both in and outside the office.
Job Roles and Duties:
Perform administrative and executive duties to the Registrar & Chief Executive Officer, including managing correspondence, preparing documents, maintaining records, and undertake personal and private duties for the CEO both in and outside the office.
Manage the Registrar’s schedule including scheduling meetings, appointments, events, and other activities.
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, phone calls, whatsapp messages, online blog, and all social media.
Prepare and edit documents, life reports, articles and make presentations for the Registrar/CEO.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including meeting minutes, agendas, and other documents.
Act as a liaison between the Registrar’s office and other departments, stakeholders, and external organizations, including the press.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion, including personal matters of the Registrar/CEO.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Secretarial Studies.
At least 3-5 years of experience as a confidential secretary or Executive Assistant, preferably in a professional or corporate setting.
Excellent oral and written communication, organizational versatility and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft office, including Word, Excel, Power point, and PageMaker.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information and duties with discretion.
Certification in secretarial studies with high typing speed.
