We seek experienced Coiled Tubing Unit Operators to operate our state-of-the-art coiled tubing equipment.
The role requires hands-on operation of CT units, surface equipment, and downhole tools in various well intervention applications.
Responsibilities
Operate coiled tubing units and associated surface equipment
Conduct equipment pre-job inspections and testing
Execute coiled tubing operations under the engineer’s supervision
Monitor and control job parameters during operations
Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Ensure strict adherence to safety and operational procedures
Maintain accurate operational records and reports
Support equipment rigging up and rigging down activities
Assist in equipment transportation and mobilization
Participate in safety meetings and training programmes
Requirements
Technical diploma / HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum 2 – 5 years of experience in coiled tubing operations
Experience with CT unit operation and control systems
Knowledge of high-pressure pumping equipment
Understanding of safety systems and procedures
Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work in challenging field conditions
Strong safety awareness and commitment
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in Nigerian oil & gas operations
Basic well control training
Equipment maintenance experience
First aid and safety certifications
Experience with multiple CT unit types
Technical Skills:
CT unit operation and control
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
BOP operation and testing
Equipment troubleshooting and repair
Safety systems operation
Basic instrumentation and controls
Equipment maintenance procedures.
