The Co-generation Power Plant Shift In-Charge is responsible for the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of the cogeneration power plant during assigned shifts. 
This includes supervising plant operations, coordinating with other departments, monitoring system performance, and leading shift personnel to ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety standards, and production targets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise and control the entire plant operation during the shift.
Monitor power generation, steam production, and plant parameters via DCS and field.
Coordinate with Boiler, Turbine, Electrical, and WTP teams for load adjustments and issue resolution.
Ensure strict adherence to safety and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Record and report plant performance, incidents, and abnormalities.
Provide technical guidance to operators and technicians.
Lead troubleshooting of plant equipment and systems in coordination with maintenance.
Manage manpower deployment and shift schedules effectively.
Conduct shift changeover briefings and maintain proper logbooks.
Escalate critical issues to management and follow through resolution action.

Educational Qualifications and Work Experience

B.Sc.,HND or any equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Professional Certification is an added advantage. (Certificate of Proficiency in Power Plant/Boiler Operation preferred)
Minimum 10 years in cogeneration or thermal power plant operations, with at least 5 years in a shift supervisory role
