The Hubei Province is pleased to announce the 2025 Chinese Government Hubei Scholarship for international students to pursue undergraduate and graduate programs in China.
The Hubei Government Scholarship offers free tuition, on-campus accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance, and a living allowance worth up to ¥20,000 per year.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Chinese Government Hubei Scholarship 2025, you must:
Be a non-Chinese citizen (from any country except China)
Must be under 25 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent (Undergraduate Applicants).
Should be under 30 years old with a bachelor’s degree (Masters Applicants).
Must be under 35 years old with a master’s degree (Doctoral Applicants).
Must meet specific academic and professional requirements.
Must be in good health and meet the language requirements of their chosen program.
Benefits
All recipients of the Hubei Government Scholarship will receive free tuition, on-campus accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance, and a monthly living allowance.
Stipend offered varies as follows;
Undergraduate Scholarship: 10,000 RMB per year
Graduate Scholarship: 15,000 RMB per year
Doctorate Scholarship: 20,000 RMB per year
General Scholar Scholarship: 5,000 RMB for 6 months or 10,000 RMB per year
Advanced Scholar Scholarship: 10,000 RMB for 6 months or 20,000 RMB per year

Visit the chosen university’s official website, navigate to the International Students section, and locate the Scholarships tab.
Click on the Hubei Municipal Government Scholarship link to access detailed application procedures and requirements.
Complete the online application form on the university’s website and submit all required documents either online or by mailing them to the university’s admissions office.
