Circuit Pointe is a non-profit, youth-led organization established in 2015 by a young female Nigerian after hearing untold stories of oppressed women, abused teens and victims of traditional practices. We have a 3-member Board of Trustees and 40 volunteer members who are young people between 18-35 years.Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to lead outreach, build strategic partnerships, and secure business opportunities across our portfolio. In this role, you will lead strategic efforts to grow the organization’s client base and partner network. You will identify leads, develop proposals, coordinate pitch materials, and build trusted relationships with decision-makers. This role combines market research, solution alignment, consultative selling, and external communications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Market Research
Identify and qualify new business opportunities, inbound and outbound
Research industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging needs
Maintain a pipeline of prospects, leads, and opportunities using CRM tools
Partnership Development
Build and maintain relationships with clients, development partners, funders, and institutional collaborators
Represent the organization in partner meetings, demos, and capability briefings
Negotiate partnership terms in alignment with strategic priorities
Proposal & Pitch Development
Lead the creation of proposals, pitch decks, expressions of interest, and funding applications
Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to tailor solutions to client needs
Maintain a library of proposal content, case studies, and credentials
Sales & Account Growth
Drive the full sales cycle: discovery, presentation, negotiation, and close
Track business KPIs and conversion metrics
Support contract negotiation and onboarding for new clients
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with product, marketing, and delivery teams to align external offerings with internal capacity
Contribute insights to service design, pricing, and campaign strategy
Participate in cross-team efforts on branding, communications, and client success
Requirements & Qualifications
3+ years experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (preferably in consulting, tech, education, or nonprofit sectors)
Demonstrated success in securing B2B partnerships, proposals, or service contracts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience writing business proposals or concept notes for projects or services
Proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, PowerPoint, HubSpot/CRM, and LinkedIn
Comfort with remote collaboration tools (SmartSheet, Teams etc.)
