Today, the Company is concentrating on three areas viz: <strong> Agrocare, Healthcare and Pharmacare.We are seeking a skilled and motivated Biomedical Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical equipment and devices at client facilities. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, test, and maintain biomedical equipment according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration on a wide range of medical devices.
Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment efficiently to minimize downtime.
Provide technical support and training to healthcare personnel on equipment use and maintenance.
Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all activities.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including electrical and radiation safety standards.
Coordinate with manufacturers or vendors for parts procurement and technical support when necessary.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in medical technology and service techniques.
Support the sales team with technical advice and demonstrations when required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5–7 years of hands-on experience in the servicing and maintenance of biomedical equipment.
Strong knowledge of medical devices
Familiarity with OEM service manuals, diagnostic software, and tools.
Good understanding of regulatory and safety standards in medical device servicing.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Ability to travel to client sites as required.
